What Elena Kept game privacy
What data What Elena Kept, the cosy sorting puzzle with a mystery in an attic, uses: your progress stays on your phone, with no accounts, ads or analytics.
Last updated: 2026-11-04
This policy covers only the What Elena Kept game (Lo que guardó Elena) for iPhone and Android. The website's privacy is explained separately in the www.elrincondeisma.com privacy policy.
In one sentence: What Elena Kept has no user accounts and no servers of its own, shows no ads, sells nothing and uses no analytics; your progress is stored only on your device.
1. Who is responsible
- Owner: Ismael Catalá
- Tax ID: 52892832S
- Address: Calle Virgen de la Oliva, 10, 28037 Madrid
- Contact email: ismael@elrincondeisma.com
2. What is stored on your device
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Progress: level, coins, lives, boosters, clues found and house tasks | So you can continue where you left off |
| Daily missions, weekly chest, streak of light and daily chest | To keep track of each challenge and its rewards |
| Settings: language, music, sounds, vibration, reduce motion, high contrast and lives reminder | To remember your preferences |
All of this lives in a file in the app's private storage. It is not sent to any server of ours (we have none). You can delete it at any time from Settings › Delete data, and it is also deleted if you uninstall the game.
3. What we don't do
- We don't ask for your name, email or any other personal data, and you don't need an account.
- This version shows no ads and has no in-app purchases.
- We use no analytics or tracking tools, and we don't ask for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) because we don't track you across other companies' apps and websites.
- We don't use your location, camera, microphone, photos or contacts.
- We don't share or sell any data to anyone.
4. Game engine
What Elena Kept is made with Unity. We don't use any of its analytics, ads, purchases or crash reporting services. Even so, the engine may send Unity Technologies basic technical statistics about the device (model, operating system, processor, memory and screen) that don't identify you, under its privacy policy.
5. Legal basis and age
The data stored on your device is processed to provide the service you ask for (playing). What Elena Kept is designed for a general audience and is not specifically aimed at children under 14.
6. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability of your data by writing to ismael@elrincondeisma.com. Since we have no servers or accounts, we keep nothing of yours: the game data is only on your device and you can delete it yourself from the settings.
If you think we haven't handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
7. Changes
If a future version adds purchases, ads or any other use of data, we will update this page and the date above before releasing it.
