App data deletion
How the data handled by ERDI POSTIZ is deleted and how to request its removal.

This page explains how to delete the data processed by ERDI POSTIZ, the app registered on the Meta platform that I use to manage my Instagram account. The detail of what that data is lives in the app privacy policy.
Summary: ERDI POSTIZ stores no data on any server. Everything it downloads lives on my computer, and the only connected account is mine. Deleting the data means removing those files and revoking access.
1. What data exists and where
- Local backup of the account history: my own posts, comments and metrics, in a project folder.
- Working material: carousel scripts and images, also in local folders.
- API access token, in a local configuration file.
There are no copies in the cloud, no remote databases and no third parties keeping them.
2. How it is deleted
a) Remove the downloaded data
Deleting the project's local folders on the machine is enough. The deletion is immediate and irreversible.
b) Revoke the app's access
From the Instagram app itself, with the connected account:
Settings → Apps and websites → ERDI POSTIZ → Remove.
Once access is revoked, the token stops working immediately and the app can no longer read anything from the account.
c) Delete the stored token
Remove the IG_ACCESS_TOKEN variable from the project's local configuration
file.
3. Requesting deletion in writing
If you are someone whose data you believe may have been processed by this app — for example, because you commented on a post by @elrincondeismaoficial — you can request its deletion by writing to:
Tell me the Instagram username you are writing from and what content you want removed. Requests are handled within 30 days at most and answered by email confirming the deletion.
4. Timing and confirmation
Deleting the local files is immediate. Requests received by email are confirmed the same way once carried out.
